The Covid-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to the education sector with school closures, remote learning and increased workloads. Mental health and wellbeing has been negatively affected for both students and staff and we expect to see issues associated with the pandemic surfacing for many months if not years to come.
In our new series of wellbeing webinars we aim to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to help support your students moving forward into 2021. Each 30 minute session will provide practical advice and guidance to help you create outstanding pastoral care in your setting. The information we share will also be beneficial for teachers and other staff too.
Each session will focus on a different aspect related to pupil/student mental health. Simply register your details below and you will receive joining instructions 1 week before each session. For those that can't attend on the day, recordings will be shared after each event.

Sarah recently joined the Safeguarding training team at MyConcern and is also training to be a counsellor.
Sarah’s background is in independent schools where she has worked as Head of Safeguarding and Boarding and as a Teacher and Mentor. She has over 11 years’ experience of working with children from all different backgrounds, children with specific needs and from different cultures. Sarah is also trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
Sarah will be joined by Nigel Lowson. Nigel has a total of 36 years’ experience working in UK schools, he now teaches individuals and groups how to relax, to be more mindful, to meditate, to sleep better, and to seize the lessons offered by life, also an experienced Chief Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the health and wellness industry and an author of "How to achieve stress-free GCSE revision".
